Peace and Love to all

Want to know more about the Buddhist culture?

I have always been interested in experiencing new cultures and new countries that is why I have travelled to the other side of the world to carry out my internship here at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Downtown Vancouver.  With so many Asian immigrants in Vancouver, Elisabeth and I were curious to experience the Chinese heritage and Buddhist philosophy and to improve our knowledge about this culture, thus we went to the International Buddhist Temple in Richmond.

The International Buddhist Temple in Richmond allows you to immerse yourself in the Buddhist culture,  purify your mind with incense, drop off some offerings to the largest golden Buddha statue in North America, contemplate in the thousand Buddha’s room, admire the traditional Chinese imperial-style architecture, and finally wander and relax in the beautiful Chinese Gardens.

The International Buddhist Temple is open to everyone and is a great place to go for a stroll and clear your mind. Extend the Chinese discovery by going to the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Chinatown, just a 10 minute walk/ or a 5 minute shuttle ride from the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Downtown Vancouver!

Peace and Love to all!
