Well, well, well, do we have some fun things coming up in Vancouver. And how could we not? The holiday season is on the way, and that means that there’s going to be plenty of festive related fun taking place all over the city. Coming up we have the opportunity for families to sit down and enjoy a classic festive doubleheader; a free outdoor festival; and an extra excuse to travel to the top of Grouse Mountain as if you needed one. You’ll find all the details below.

Fun for the whole family

If you’re travelling with the kids in tow, then make sure you’re getting down to the Carousel Theatre, where there’ll be a double bill of Charlie Brown movies. These are great movies to watch around the holidays, and even better when it’s in a theatre! The double bill showing will take place on select dates from November 24 - December 30.

Winter fun

Join around 15,000 other attendees by visiting Candytown - A Yaletown Holiday Festival, which will be taking place on November 24 at Mainland Street. There’ll be lights, candy canes, street performers, music, and much more on the fun-filled day! The event is free, so make sure you check it out if you’re in town.

Christmas on top of the mountain

From November 23 onward, you’ll be able to see Grouse Mountain transformed into Vancouver’s version of the North Pole. And if the kids are with you, treat them to breakfast with Santa Claus. Arrive, explore, be enchanted!

If you’re visiting the city, then you better make sure you’re staying at the best hotel in Vancouver! At the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Downtown Vancouver, you’ll be treated to amenities that include a complimentary breakfast, on-site dining options, a sauna and whirlpool, and much more.
