Talking history

If you ever have the chance to listen to a talk to someone who’s been right at the centre of history, you should take it. On March 21, you’ll have that opportunity. ‘Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama’ will be taking place at Rogers Arena on March 21, in support of her memoirs. It promises to be a fascinating and intriguing insight into the inner realm of power.

Celtic history

CelticFest will be running from February 22 through to March 20, but it’ll be the days around St. Patrick’s Day when the festival really bursts into life. There’s a whole host of events taking place -- head down and throw yourself into the Irish way of life for a few hours.

Classic rock

It’s your last chance to see classic rock masters Lynyrd Skynyrd! There’ll be rocking and rolling into town on March 15, where they’ll be performing at the Abbotsford Centre. Air guitars recommended.

Round off your trip by staying at the best hotel in Vancouver. At the Hampton Inn & Suites Vancouver, you’ll be able to choose from a host of room types, as well as enjoy a range of amenities that include a hot buffet breakfast, a fitness centre, and a games area.
