We’re all looking forward to Christmas, sure, but it’s also true that it’s all going to be a bit frantic in the run up to the big day, and before we know it, the day will have been and gone! But fear not, because this doesn’t mean that the fun is over for another year, oh no. If you’re visiting Vancouver in the weeks after December 25, then you’ll have plenty of fun events to keep you entertained and in the seasonal spirit for a little longer. We take a look at three highlights below.

Seasonal goodness

We don’t want to crash back down to reality the second Christmas Day has passed. And thanks to the Fort Langley National Historic Site of Canada, we don’t need to. They’ll be hosting their “Fort Langley Christmas” from December 27 - 30 (also December 21 - 23), which will include fireside stories and roasted chestnuts, among other highlights.

A classic tale

Travelling with the little ones in tow? Then get yourself down to Stanley Alliance Industrial Stage to see a performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, which will be taking place all the way through to January 6.

Celebrating the VSO

It’ll be a special night for the VSO on January 10 as they celebrate their 100th birthday. Get down to Orpheum Theatre to hear special tracks from their history, including the first piece that they ever performed (which was Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture), and to enjoy the celebrations.

Treat yourself to the best hotel in Vancouver this holiday season by booking your stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Downtown Vancouver. During your stay, you’ll find you have everything you need to fully enjoy your stay, including amenities that include an on the house breakfast, onsite dining, and a sauna and whirlpool, among others.
